The new visual search option is available in the Bing app for iOS and Android along with Microsoft Launcher app on Android, Edge app for both iOS and Android.

With the new visual search option users will now be able to quickly search for information of a place or any landmark by using your phone’s camera.

You would need to launch any one of the mentioned apps and click on the camera icon. After tapping on the camera icon you need to take the photo of the required place. The photo taken gets saved in your phone’s gallery and you also have the option to upload photo directly from your gallery.

Once the photo is uploaded, Bing searches for the specific details with the help of the visual search option and displays the details within the phone app.

Microsoft is also working on increasing the limit of searches via the visual search option and the option will soon be able to get full power of Bing in future updates.

Moving forward Microsoft says you will be able to search for fashion, furnishing and more such products with the option and the results disclosed will be having full information for the selected products.
